Stafford County Golf Courses

Aquia Harbour Golf Course
A 9-hole regulation course with alternate tees for an 18-hole round. This par 35 course measures 2,748 yards with a 34.5 rating and 120 slope. Open to the public, it features a driving range, putting and chipping greens, and lesson programs for adults, high schoolers, and juniors under 14. The clubhouse offers a full-service pro shop and restaurant, with banquet facilities for up to 150 guests. Weekend rate: $33.

Augustine Golf Course
Designed by Rick Jacobson, this 18-hole, par 71 course stretches 6,817 yards and was renovated in 2011-2012. Located 3.5 miles from I-95 Exit 140 (Stafford Courthouse Road), it features a pro shop, grill, valet bag drop, club fitting, private instruction, and junior golf camps. The clubhouse serves as a venue for weddings, corporate events, and more. Weekend rate: $79. Augustine is part of the Raspberry Golf Trail and is nationally recognized as one of Virginia’s best courses.

The Gauntlet Golf Course at Curtis Memorial Park
A par 72, 6,900-yard regulation course designed by P.B. Dye. It features zoysia grass fairways and bent grass greens. Opened in 1995, Golf Digest named it a “Top 10 New Course to Play in the U.S.” The facility includes a 20-station grass driving range, practice bunker, chipping and putting greens, golf shop, and grill. PGA professionals offer private lessons and clinics. The restaurant and banquet hall accommodate up to 150 guests. Weekend rate: $55.

Cannon Ridge Golf Course
An 18-hole, par 72 course playing 7,010 yards from the longest tees. Closed temporarily in 2015 for renovations to convert to Bermuda grass, this Bobby Weed and Deane Beman design opened in 2003 along the Rappahannock River. It boasts multiple Golf Digest accolades, including Best New Courses in the U.S. (2003) and #1 Public Course on the East Coast (2004). Amenities include a 40-station driving range, practice greens and bunkers, restaurant, pro shop, club fitting, and ballroom for up to 130 guests. Fee info currently unavailable.
